2. Basic epidemiological concepts and professional practice in learning to use these concepts appropriately. Optician about the professional is knowledgeable about the powers and responsibilities.
3. To have knowledge about the basic visual devices as well as lenses, contact lenses and low vision devices.
4. Providing best choices and helping the user to select the most appropriate product (contact lenses, frames...), prepare them according to the prescription and provide the user s adaptation.
5. To be able to measure the ophthalmic lenses by lensmeter and spherometer and contact lenses and to make their settings for mounting.
6. To have basic knowledge about eye, the anatomy of eye and vision health and eye diseases, to have basic knowledge about public health, human anatomy and physiology.
7. To have knowledge of basic optical instruments.
8. To use hospital automation systems, general and professional software programs.
9. Make information about the use of special glasses.
10. To be able to solve the problems related to the customer and make professional information.
