Program Learning Outcomes 

1. Possesses theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the optician profession. They possess knowledge and expertise in optician terminology, health legislation, and health law. The optician practices the profession within the framework of ethical rules, fulfilling their duties and responsibilities. Graduates of the program can work as responsible managers in optician establishments in the private sector or have the right to open their own optician establishment.

2. Learning basic epidemiological concepts and being able to use these concepts appropriately in professional practice. In the field of optician, he has knowledge about professional powers and responsibilities.

3. Glasses, contact lenses and low vision devices (telescopic products, etc.) has information about basic vision devices such as.

4. Ability to select, sell, and prepare basic vision aids according to prescription and ensure their adaptation to the user. Measurement of the diopter of eyeglass lenses and contact lenses
