Program Educational Objectives
- To educate qualified healthcare personnel who follow professional developments, respond to changing workforce needs, possess advanced professional skills and competencies, are innovative, socially responsible, capable of taking initiative, and meet the qualifications sought by the relevant sector.
- To educate healthcare personnel who are familiar with the operating room environment and equipment, are able to prepare the operating room before and after surgical procedures, are proficient in sterilization and disinfection techniques, and are capable of assisting the surgeon during surgery.
- To educate qualified associate degree healthcare personnel who can meet the needs of the country and the healthcare sector, respect human rights, embrace universal values, science, and technology, and continuously adapt to change and development through an innovative approach.
Program Goals
To educate experienced assistant surgical healthcare personnel who are able to prepare all surgical instruments and materials used in the operating room, ensure their use during surgery, participate directly in all surgical teams, assist the surgeon during surgical procedures, and possess both practical and theoretical competencies in other multidisciplinary fields of health sciences.
