Program Learning Outcomes

1. Has command of the development and general principles of Occupational Health and Safety.

2. Has the ability to produce solutions to the problems they will encounter in the workplace.

3. Has command of the laws numbered 4857 and 6331 and the sections of these laws related to occupational health and safety.

4. Is in a position to apply hazard prevention methods.

5. Can work in teams and can apply practices in their working lives regarding their work.

6. Has a sense of responsibility together with the necessary care regarding the workplace.

7. Knows personal protective equipment and is in a position to apply it in the workplace.

8. Knows physical factors and is competent in the precautions to be taken against them.

9. Becomes a technical staff who ensures work harmony in accordance with teamwork among the personnel, establishes good relationships, is tolerant, understanding and uses resources in a balanced way.

10. Has knowledge of hazard sources and causes of accidents.

11. Follows current innovations and changes related to the field of work and job.

12. Has professional equipment to work in the industry and service sectors.

13. Has knowledge and awareness of social responsibility, ethical values, and professional principles.

14. Uses technological tools and programs that enable the profession.

15. Explains occupational health and safety legislation.

16. Conducts proactive and reactive activities.

17. Creates a risk map of the work environment in terms of occupational health and safety.

18. Conducts recording and reporting activities.
