Program Educational Objectives
- To train professionals who combine theoretical knowledge with practice, know medical ethics, have a sense of social responsibility respect patient rights, and can fulfill their assigned duties based on universal science and education principles in the health sector,
- To train medical laboratory technicians who have the knowledge and equipment to accept samples to the laboratory for routine analyses needed in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment processes of various diseases, to analyze, finalize, and report the findings,
- To produce qualified graduates who can take part in business structures and organizations in the medical and health sector, are competent in the use of medical devices and tools in the laboratory, know the quality control processes in the laboratory, produce effective solutions to the problems encountered, are compatible with teamwork, are open to professional development and follow scientific and technological developments.
Program Goals
The aim is to train Medical Laboratory Technicians who possess a solid foundation in their field; are knowledgeable in and capable of applying both traditional methods and modern techniques; are competent and conscious regarding safety, health, and environmental protection measures; can identify problems and develop solutions; communicate effectively; work well in teams; keep up with innovations in the field; and possess the qualifications to secure employment at high rates in various private or public healthcare institutions (such as hospitals and laboratories) following graduation.
