Program Educational Objectives

The objective of the Laboratory Technology Program is to educate qualified laboratory technicians who are capable of working in public and private institutions providing laboratory services; proficient in the effective use of laboratory equipment; competent in conducting laboratory analyses of plants, soil, water, food, feed, and fertilizers; committed to quality assurance systems and professional ethical standards; dedicated to continuous learning and professional development; and equipped to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Program Goals

  1. To ensure that students acquire fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical professional skills in the field of laboratory technology.
  2. To develop students' knowledge and awareness of laboratory safety, occupational health, and environmental responsibility.
  3. To equip students with the competence to effectively use modern laboratory equipment and information technologies employed in professional practice.
