Program Learning Outcomes
1. Knows the child, follows the child's personality and self-development, recognizes the sources of adaptation and behavioral problems in children, communicates effectively with the child and the child's immediate environment, and has the knowledge, skills and competence to follow the child's development in all areas.
2. Monitoring children development including children with special needs
3. Will assist in identifying learning and developmental needs of children
4. Knows pediatric diseases, first aid practices in emergencies, and applies preventive health measures.
5. Knows adequate and balanced nutrition and creates a nutrition program appropriate for the developmental period.
6. It takes precautions against child neglect and abuse, monitors and cooperates with practices related to children's rights and protection.
7. Prepares educational plans in preschool education institutions and special education programs and supports classroom teachers in implementing effective teaching methods.
8. It knows the importance of games and toys for preschool children and children with special needs, creates effective play environments, designs and produces educational tools and toys for children.
9. Plans and implements art and drama activities appropriate for the child's age group.
10. Examines publications prepared for children and follows media publications aimed at children.
11. Is aware of professional responsibilities and ethical values.
12. Uses computer software and computer-aided activities at the level required by the field.
13. Is sensitive to Ataturk's Principles and Revolutions and can use the Turkish Language effectively.
