Program Learning Outcomes

1. Possesses fundamental, up-to-date, and practical knowledge related to the profession.

2. Has knowledge about occupational health and safety, environmental awareness, and quality processes.

3. Follows current developments and practices in the profession and uses them effectively.

4. Effectively uses information technologies (software, programs, animations, etc.) related to the profession.

5. Has the ability to independently evaluate professional problems and issues using an analytical and critical approach, and to propose appropriate solutions.

6. Can effectively express and present ideas both in written and verbal communication at the level of knowledge and skills.

7. Takes responsibility as a team member in solving unforeseen and complex problems encountered in field-related practices.

8. Has awareness of career management and lifelong learning.

9. Acts in accordance with social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values during the collection, implementation, and dissemination of field-related data.

10. Follows developments in the field and communicates with colleagues by using Turkish and a foreign language.

11. Recognizes different types of disabilities, lists their developmental characteristics and disability-specific educational principles.

12. It carries out the practices recommended by the health professional who provides necessary care and services to improve the living conditions of disabled individuals, under expert supervision.

13. Explains legal practices and support systems (special education centers, guidance centers, etc.) for individuals with disabilities.
