"Trainer Training on Evidence Collection and Evidence Security in Sexual Assault", jointly conducted by Üsküdar University Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences and the Ministry of Health, was held on May 2, 4 and 5, 20223 at Üsküdar University Central Campus Ayhan Songar Conference Hall.
Sevil Atasoy, Director of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences at Üsküdar University, and Forensic Sciences Specialist Dr. Faculty Member Tuğba Ünsal Sapan organized this event as trainers. Participants were informed about the legal aspects of sexual assault, criminal sanctions, what physicians should do, safe evidence collection process and forensic case management.
The three-day "Training of Trainers on Evidence Collection and Evidence Security in Sexual Assault" was completed by giving certificates to Gynecologists and Obstetricians working in Istanbul.
Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, Vice Rector of Üsküdar University, Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences and Director of the Research Center for Combating Violence and Crime, made the opening speech of the training (May 3, 2023).
