Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who attended the 6th International Creation Congress in the Light of Sciences held in Van, pointed out that the metaverse strengthens the possibility that the universe is a simulation. “We are actually living in a simulation,” said Tarhan, adding, “Matter was seen as primary, and information as secondary. Now it is understood that matter is secondary, and information is primary. Quantum will offer us the most accurate conception of God.” Prof. Dr. Tarhan emphasized that in the capitalist system where lies, deception, trickery, and mercilessness are considered morality, the need for reason-based truth and the wisdom of that truth will increase again, and that knowledge to meet this future need must also be produced.

Metaverse will enter our daily lives
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that Metaverse is widely discussed today, saying, “In Metaverse, there is Virtual Reality, science fiction, and digital games. If quantum computers are developed and implemented, Metaverse will enter our daily lives as virtual reality. For example, in meetings like these, we will be able to participate with our avatars using sensors on us, listen, speak, and ask questions. In other words, we will be able to exist virtually in 3D. There is even talk of a 4th dimension after quantum.”
The lifespan of information has dropped to 2-3 years
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan reminded that the agricultural era existed for years before Christ, before the industrial revolution began, and said, “The agricultural era lasted for thousands of years and is ending with Industry 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0. Scientific developments and global population growth have occurred simultaneously. Previously, the lifespan of a piece of information was 30 years, but now it has dropped to 2-3 years and seems likely to decrease further. We call the non-mathematized state of science 'philosophy'. For example, there is computational psychiatry. We presented this topic at the American Psychiatric Association’s congress in 2007. That presentation was watched by the whole world. Computational psychiatry tries to observe how human psychology is affected by creating mathematical models.”
We are actually living in a simulation
Stating that the sciences of Akidah (Islamic creed) and Kalam (speculative theology) need to be reinterpreted, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan continued:
“Metaverse strengthens the possibility that the universe is a simulation. We say we are currently living in the world, but we are actually living in a simulation. I also covered this topic in my latest book, 'Wisdom Psychology.' Intelligent design emerged as an alternative to evolution. For example, a bird can travel to one end of the world and then return to its starting point. They have a mechanism in their brains that works according to the Earth’s electromagnetic compass. This situation is now beginning to be understood. It has been revealed that the universe is a digital-based universe. Previously, dialectical materialism told us that matter existed first, and information emerged dialectically from matter. Matter was considered primary, and information secondary. Now it is understood that matter is secondary, and information is primary.”

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated, 'If time is currently coming from infinity and going to infinity, we are living in a different energy band in this world where we are guests,' and added, “After death, we will also go to a different energy band. For this, there must be intelligent design. In fact, Hawkins has a finding regarding this: My mathematical mind does not accept that this vast universe should remain empty when this world is so vibrant, joyful, and alive, he says. There are superior communities with high computer technologies. They govern. He has a thesis that 'they can come to us just like Christopher Columbus went to America,' because he doesn't know Tawhid (monotheism)... Hawkins doesn't know Tawhid and therefore isn't aware that the intelligent design in his mind has a designer. If he knew Tawhid, he would know that external reality has a creator. There are 4,300 religions in the world. All of them claim to be true. There are various conceptions of God. Quantum will offer us the most accurate conception of God.”
No information is lost in the universe
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan noted that time goes backward, saying, “The proof of quantum entanglement will give rise to new fields such as quantum computers, encryption, and communication networks. No information is lost in the universe. Two matters or two objects created from the same source are in constant entanglement with each other. For example, photons launched at the same time are in constant interaction with each other.”
Post-Materialist Science Manifesto published
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that the Post-Materialist Science Manifesto was published in 2014 by academics from Arizona and Columbia universities in the USA, adding, “Answers to questions like 'Is the universe a simulation?' and 'What lies beyond space-time?' were sought.” Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan noted that the hypothesis "The journey of seeking truth with scientific rigor leads us to Tawhid" should be discussed, and said, “Electromagnetism and quantum reality made one wonder if everything could be mathematical modeling. What does it mean that no living being is held by Levh-i Mahfuz (the Preserved Tablet) and its Nasiyah (forelock)?”
Materialism does not explain the universe
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that after solid, liquid, and gas, matter now also exists in an informational state, adding, “In the universe, there is first information, then mathematics, geometry, energy, physics, chemistry, and biology. But first and foremost, there is a universal database. This is referred to as Levh-i Mahfuz (the Preserved Tablet) in the Holy Quran. God creates humans, and when their time comes, humans go to the world to be tested or remain, and then return to where they came from in Levh-i Mahfuz. Quantum confirms this. Materialism does not explain the universe. Materialism has now scientifically collapsed. Anyone who defends materialism is now outdated.”
The need for reason-based truth will increase
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said, “In a capitalist system where lies, deception, trickery, and mercilessness are considered morality, the need for reason-based truth and the wisdom of that truth will increase again. Therefore, we must produce knowledge that will answer this future need. I wanted to address a synthesis of physics, biology, mathematics, psychiatry, and neuroscience with the teachings of the Holy Quran, or a new ontological discussion, at the creation congress.”
Information and emotions are produced in the brain, the heart alters reality
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that there is an automatized network in the human brain, saying, “After a while, humans act without questioning. Because they don't question, they mistake wrongs for rights. Their emotions now confirm false beliefs. It becomes a kind of 'sealing of the heart.' While I considered the sealing of the heart contrary to the secret of the test, I likened it to this: There is a television studio in Taksim. Information is produced from the control room there. That information goes to the Çamlıca Tower. From there, it is broadcast to the whole world. Although information is produced from Taksim, it is broadcast from Çamlıca. Similarly, our information, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are produced in our brains. That information transforms into chemical letters in our brains and reaches our hearts. From the heart, it is distributed throughout the body. We feel it there. The heart alters reality. From there, a connection is established with the universal flow. The brains of people whose hearts are sealed now work like a television without a connection in space. It only works with information recorded within itself, in an egoistic manner... That's why opening your heart to your Lord, thinking of God as always by your side, also emotionally reveals the truth.”
