The second event of the ÇVKxTALKS series, organized by the Çağın Vicdanı Club, operating under the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports (SKS) of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, was held. The guest of the event, titled 'Youth Lives Once,' was Harun Serkan Aktaş, President of Maksat 114 Association and author. Aktaş made evaluations on the purpose of human existence in the world, the spiritual meaning of the three months, and life's trials. Describing the three months as a spiritual fair, Aktaş emphasized that this period offers an opportunity for internal reflection and purification.

The event, held at the Emirnebi Conference Hall on Üsküdar Üniversitesi Çarşı Campus, began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Muhammed Ali Sılgan, a student of Üsküdar Üniversitesi.

“This world is a military guesthouse”
Harun Serkan Aktaş, addressing humanity's position in the world not merely as a guest but as a responsible being, said: “This world is a military guesthouse. Humans are soldiers in that military guesthouse. They are under an command. Destiny tests humans on the stones of trials and measures quality with these trials.”

“The self (Nefs) is like a yellow python”
Aktaş, enriching his speech with stories, described the self's (nefs) effect on humans with an analogy. Aktaş said; “The self (nefs) is like a yellow python. First it wraps, then lets go, then wraps again, then lets go. In reality, it measures your weakest moment to swallow you. The self (nefs) may appear charming to you, but it watches for opportunities to destroy you.”

“The three months are a time for decision-making and purification”
Aktaş, drawing attention to the fact that the three months are a time to move away from material life and strengthen the spiritual aspect; “Currently, a spiritual fair has been established. A celestial market has opened. We are in a period when the worldly market will pause. The three months are a time for decision-making and purification. The nights of Raghaib, Mi'raj, Berat, and Laylat al-Qadr encompass us in a very meaningful sequence.” he said.
Detailing the spiritual journey of the three months, Aktaş stated that this process invites people to an inner ascent and touched upon the meanings of the nights of Mi'raj, Berat, and Laylat al-Qadr. Aktaş also emphasized the importance of the heart meeting the Quran.
