The martyrs of July 15 have not been forgotten this year...
Üsküdar University did not forget July 15 on the 7th anniversary of the July 15 Coup Attempt. The epic fight of the nation against the coup attempt was commemorated with various activities with the participation of academic, administrative and students under the coordination of Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department. Üsküdar members visited the July 15 Martyrs Memorial and the July 15 Memory Museum and prayed at the martyrdom memorial.
Coup and Democracy exhibition opened to visitors
On the 7th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt, the "Coup and Democracy Exhibition" was held in the lobby area of Üsküdar University Central Campus.
The exhibition, in which the malicious coup attempt of July 15 is showed chronologically, can be visited in the lobby area of the Main Campus between July 10-16.
July 15 Martyrs Memorial was visited
On the 7th anniversary of the July 15 Coup Attempt, Üsküdar University visited the July 15 Martyrs Memorial with the participation of academic, administrative and students in coordination with the Department of Health, Culture and Sports. Under the leadership of Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Dean Prof. Osman Çerezci, many figures from academic and administrative staff participated in the visit. For those who were martyred on July 15, the prayer was said under the leadership of the Institute for Sufi Studies Instructor Prof. Niyazi Beki. After the prayer, Üsküdar members also visited the Memory Museum.
An interview program on coups was held on ÜÜ TV
A discussion program on Coups was held on ÜÜTV with the participation of Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History Asst. Prof. Kazım Dalkıran, Üsküdar University and Justice Defenders Association (ASDER) Secretary General, Retired Major Gürcan Onat and Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports (HCS) Department Director Sadık Paksoy. In the program, the topics of July 15 and the history of coups in Türkiye were discussed.
