2025-2026 International Relations Doctoral Program Spring Semester Entrance Exam
Interview Oral Exam: January 28, 2026
Exam Time: 1:30 PM
Exam Location: South Campus Socrates Hall
Graduation Requirments: To be able to apply to the program, it is a prerequisite to graduate from programs related to international relations, political science and international relations and political science, or from any master's program with thesis in the field of social sciences. Accordingly, in addition to international relations, political science and international relations and political science programs, those who have a master's degree with thesis from one of the fields such as sociology, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, history, economics, law, communication, etc. can also be admitted to the International Relations PhD Program. However, students who apply to the program from any social science program other than the programs within the scope of international relations and are accepted to the program will be given scientific preparation courses from the International Relations master's program within Üsküdar University.
Dear Candidates,
In the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year, 15 new students will be admitted to the International Relations Doctorate Program.
Ranking Criteria for the candidacy to the PhD Program:
- 50% of the candidate's ALES score in the equally weighted (EA) score type,
- 20% of the candidate's psychology graduate grade point average (GANO) converted into a 100-point system,
- 30% of Science Exam scoring will be additioned and placed in the ranking.
Applications of candidates of those who do not upload the documents below to the application system will not be evaluated:
1) ALES certificate of the last 5 years
2) A language score of 55 and above
3) A document showing the graduate grade point average.
