MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROGRAMME LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The fundamental objective of the Management Information Systems Undergraduate Programme is to produce qualified graduates who can approach business, management and information technology from an integrated perspective, think analytically and manage digital transformation processes.

In line with this, the programme's teaching objectives are as follows:

1. Management and Information Integration:

To equip students with the competence to integrate business management knowledge with information systems.

2. Analytical and Systems Thinking:

To develop problem-solving and strategic decision-making skills using data analysis, decision support systems, and business intelligence tools.

3. Information Technology Competence:

To provide fundamental and applied knowledge in software development, database management, systems analysis and design, cybersecurity, and network technologies.

4. Digital Transformation and Innovation:

Equipping students with the skills to plan organisational digital transformation processes and develop technology-focused innovative projects.

5. Ethical and Sustainability Awareness:

Raising awareness on information security, data privacy, professional ethics, and sustainability.

6. Communication and Teamwork:

To train individuals who can communicate effectively in interdisciplinary teams and possess project management and leadership skills.
