Program Educational Objectives
1. To train specialists who can take part in crime scene investigation and criminal laboratory processes by using the fundamental scientific knowledge they have acquired in biology, chemistry, physics and related disciplines in the field of forensic sciences.
2. To train professionals who can use scientific methods in the collection, preservation, analysis and interpretation of forensic evidence and who are aware of their ethical and legal responsibilities.
3. To train individuals who follow developments in the field of forensic sciences, can conduct research, and can carry out scientific projects and studies.
4. To train graduates with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills who can play an active role in expert witness work, criminal laboratory work and crime scene investigation activities within the criminal justice system.
5. To train forensic science specialists who can communicate scientifically at national and international levels, participate in interdisciplinary studies and embrace lifelong learning.
