Brain and brain diseases are one of the most researched fields in the world. The analysis of behavioral and cognitive functions in the brain by neurophysiological methods and the determination of diseases caused by impaired functions are carried out in the electroneurophysiology laboratory.
In our laboratory, which is one of the units of Üsküdar University, shooting with Polysomnography (PSG), Electroencephalography (EEG) and Electromyography devices, analyzing visual arousal potentials and brainstem arousal potentials are performed by our technicians under the supervision of our specialist physicians.
Electroneurophysiology Laboratory Equipment
- 38 channel EEG-PSG system
- Two channel desktop EMG/EP system
- EEG system
- EMG/EP system
Üsküdar University electroneurophysiology laboratory has a shooting preparation room, monitorization room, neuropsychology test room and EEG analysis room.
While conducting brain research, scientists can carry out their multidisciplinary studies in the modern and state-of-the-art electroneurophysiology laboratory. In our laboratory, which offers an isolated environment, brain electrical activity can be measured with high precision and accuracy.
Our laboratory is equipped with equipment that will help audio-visual EEG (Electroencephalography) studies, research, skin response measurements. In addition, there are up-to-date EEG software programs to analyze the EEG recordings obtained.
