Program Educational Objectives

1. To train individuals capable of playing an active role in delivering foot health care and preventive services within hospitals, private clinics, rehabilitation centers, and similar healthcare institutions.

2. To train individuals who can practice their profession by integrating both practical and theoretical knowledge, and who are capable of assuming responsibility in their field—working either independently or in collaboration with other disciplines.

3. To train healthcare professionals who can analyze the physical challenges faced by individuals, aim to improve quality of life through foot and lower-extremity health, and develop holistic, motivating approaches that are responsive to specific needs.

Program Goals

Participates in initiatives aimed at raising awareness regarding foot health and protection. Performs medical foot care for healthy individuals and provides education on the subject. Based on the diagnosis and treatment referral of the relevant specialist physician, performs procedures such as prosthetic nail applications, bandaging, wrapping, toe cushions, and foot supports; and participates in the assessment, prevention, and treatment of foot health issues, nail pathologies, and corns.
