The Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program aims to:

  1. Educate qualified technicians equipped with the professional knowledge, practical skills, and competencies required to carry out fundamental applications in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants.
  2. Prepare individuals who adhere to professional ethical principles, actively participate in the production, processing, and utilization of medicinal and aromatic plants, and demonstrate a solution-oriented approach to professional challenges.

Program Goals

The program was established to train qualified technical support personnel capable of contributing to the conservation, cultivation, and characterization of medicinal plants with economic value for the food, pharmaceutical, dye, and cosmetics industries. Graduates are expected to possess the knowledge and practical skills required to support production, research, and industrial applications within these sectors.
