Program Educational Objectives

The Medical Imaging Techniques Program aims to:

  1. Educate qualified healthcare support personnel who assist physicians in diagnostic procedures involving magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-ray technologies.
  2. Equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills in healthcare management, organization, and professional practice.
  3. Develop graduates who can adapt to professional practice by fostering innovative thinking, entrepreneurship, and teamwork skills.
  4. Prepare graduates with the competencies required to participate in operational processes and undertake basic project and organizational responsibilities in public, private, and governmental healthcare institutions.
  5. Enhance students’ professional knowledge and technical skills in accordance with international standards while increasing their awareness of different healthcare systems and practices.
  6. Educate graduates as ethically responsible professionals who contribute to community healthcare services and demonstrate a strong sense of professional and social responsibility.

Program Goals

In line with the objectives of the Radiology Program, students are expected to acquire comprehensive theoretical knowledge in the field and develop practical competencies through supervised training in well-equipped medical imaging centers under the guidance of faculty members. Following this training, students complete clinical rotations in various departments of hospital medical imaging units, enabling them to gain hands-on experience and successfully fulfill the practical requirements of the program.
