  1. To have basic, up-to-date and practical knowledge about Emergency and Disaster Management.
  2. Have knowledge about occupational health and safety, environmental awareness and quality processes.
  3. Know about emergency communication systems.
  4. Understands how resources are utilized during emergencies and disasters.
  5. Follows current developments and practices in Emergency and Disaster Management and uses them effectively.
  6. Effectively uses information technologies (software, programs, animations, emergency and action plan preparation, etc.) related to the profession.
  7. Ability to independently evaluate professional problems and issues using an analytical and critical approach, and propose solutions.
  8. To be able to prepare scenarios and lead in the field of Emergency and Disaster Management.
  9. Be able to effectively present his or her thoughts through written and oral communication at the level of knowledge and skills, and express them clearly.
