1. Defines aging and the physiology of old age.

2. Defines and implements the processes of supporting the physical, psychological and social areas of elderly individuals, planning and implementing a basic level rehabilitation program.

3. Explains legal practices and support systems for elderly care (nursing home, day care center, etc.).

4. Has basic, current and applied information about his/her profession.

5. Has information about occupational health and safety, environmental awareness and quality processes.

6. Follows current developments and applications for his/her profession and uses them effectively.

7. Effectively uses information technologies (software, program, animation, etc.) related to his/her profession.

8. Has the ability to independently evaluate professional problems and issues with an analytical and critical approach and present a solution proposal.

9. Can effectively present his/her thoughts at the level of knowledge and skills through written and verbal communication and express them in an understandable way.

10. Takes responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen complex problems encountered in applications related to his/her field.

11. Has awareness of career management and lifelong learning.

12. Has social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the stages of collecting, applying and announcing data related to his/her field.
