Program Educational Objectives
1. To educate healthcare professionals who adopt universal principles of science and education, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, possess knowledge of medical ethics, demonstrate social responsibility, respect patient rights, and are capable of fulfilling their professional duties.
2. To educate Biomedical Device Technicians equipped with the knowledge and competencies required to participate in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of medical devices used in healthcare diagnosis and treatment, as well as in biomedical and clinical engineering processes.
3. To graduate qualified professionals who can work within the organizational structures of the healthcare sector; possess comprehensive technical knowledge of medical devices and equipment and their operating principles; are capable of identifying and diagnosing technical problems in medical devices; have knowledge of quality management systems for medical devices; are competent in the testing, inspection, and calibration of medical devices; work effectively as members of multidisciplinary teams; and are committed to continuous professional development by following scientific and technological advancements.
Program Goals

2. To develop the ability to identify, diagnose, and define problems encountered in biomedical devices.
3. To equip students with the competence to select appropriate troubleshooting methods and perform repairs to ensure the continuous operation of biomedical devices.
4. To develop the skills required to perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration measurements to ensure the reliable and continuous operation of biomedical devices.
5. To provide students with the procedural and technical knowledge required for the procurement, purchasing, and sales processes of biomedical devices.
6. To develop effective oral and written technical communication skills for interacting clearly and professionally with individuals and groups from different disciplines in healthcare settings.
