The aims of Üsküdar University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Application and Research Center (ÜSFİZYOTEM), which continues its scientific studies in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation:
- To carry out studies in the sub-fields of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation, Athlete Health, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Rheumatology Rehabilitation, Orthotic and Prosthetic Rehabilitation, etc.),
- To conduct research on current issues in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation,
- To produce projects to inform the society about healthy living and to improve the quality of life and to provide implementation proposals,
- To organize various courses, seminars, symposiums, panels, congresses, meetings within the center in order to follow current evidence-based data and publications in health sciences and to ensure that academicians and students take an active role in this process,
- Encouraging interdisciplinary studies, collaborations and projects, contributing to the development of scientists specialized in related fields,
- To cooperate with national and international, public and private institutions and organizations in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and to produce joint current projects,
- To conduct R&D studies in line with the objectives of the research center,
- Raising social awareness,
- To carry out publication activities in order to enlighten and inform the public about the research and applications carried out within the Center,
- Supporting studies and scientific research in line with the strategic decisions of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health,
- To contribute to science with the work of competent academicians in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation by planning research for TÜBİTAK and other projects,
- It is aimed to cooperate with public institutions and organizations, private sector, non-governmental organizations and international organizations within the scope of the relevant legislation provisions in achieving the purpose of the Center.
