Nursing Laboratory is a nursing skills laboratory organized for the students of the Department of Nursing of our university to practice the theoretical trainings they have seen in the courses since the 1st grade. There are high/medium reality human simulators, models and various laboratory materials in the laboratory environment for students to learn and practice care skills and nursing practices. At the end of each theoretical course that requires practice and skills, the relevant practices are carried out in this laboratory in accordance with the content of the vocational courses in the presence of expert lecturers in order to contribute to their knowledge before clinical practice. In our laboratory, many nursing skills such as health assessment, physical examination, measurement of vital signs, hygiene and self-care practices, drug applications, applications for respiration, excretion, nutrition patterns, movement and body mechanics applications, asepsis applications are taught. The ability of students to practice one-to-one on models in the laboratory environment is of great importance in terms of skill development and the quality of education.
