The Journal of Social Sciences, which began its publication life in 2015 and features original works on social sciences by expert local and international researchers, has now started to be indexed by TÜBİTAK National Academic Network and Information Center (ULAKBİM). ULAKBİM is an important information source utilized by many research institutions and researchers, especially universities, in Turkey.
The peer-reviewed Üsküdar University Journal of Social Sciences, published twice a year in May and November in both Turkish and English, has successfully passed the monitoring phase of ULAKBİM, an academic platform aiming to promote, guide, and popularize science and technology in Turkey.
The journal, which features scientific articles in the fields of Political Science and International Relations, Economic and Administrative Sciences, History, Geography, Law, Security, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Communication Sciences, Fine Arts, Linguistics, Turkish Language and Literature, Health and Education Sciences, has started to be indexed in ULAKBİM.
Stating that this development will provide significant academic value and visibility to our university, Associate Professor Dr. İbrahim Arslan, Assistant Editor of Üsküdar University Journal of Social Sciences, said that the printing work for the 11th issue of the journal, which began its publication life in 2015 and has been continuously printed and published to date, is currently underway.
