The meeting held at Üsküdar University's Central Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall was attended by Üsküdar University Founding Rector and Head of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Secretary General Asil Barış Bağ, academic and administrative staff, and the yellow T-shirt guide students.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “We get the most accurate information from our students in the field”
Üsküdar University's Founding Rector and Head of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who opened the meeting, stated that the observations of the guide students were the most valuable data for them. Tarhan emphasized that the most reliable face during the preference period is the students actually studying at the university; “Students best describe a school. You are our most important representatives in the field. As prospective students and their families tour the campuses and visit the laboratories, you answer their most specific questions. They wonder, ‘Are you satisfied?’ Your sincere answers are the most effective promotion. Even if criticisms arise, share them with us; criticism is a gift to us…” he said.

Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör gave advice to the yellow T-shirt guides
Rector of Üsküdar University Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör also attended the meeting. Güngör drew attention to the importance of the responsibility undertaken by the guide students during the preference period. She also emphasized that the guide students must accurately represent the university's corporate identity and educational vision in the field. Prof. Dr. Güngör also stated that one-on-one communication established with prospective students makes significant contributions to the preference process.

The Whole Family Wants to Be 'Üsküdarlı'
An interesting anecdote shared at the meeting, where campus student representatives provided information about each campus, was the goal of an entire family to become Üsküdar University students.
Zeynep Nurlu, who works at the Çarşı campus, shared that her parents, who took the exam after her, also plan to choose Üsküdar, which was met with smiles at the meeting. It was emphasized that such examples, demonstrating that there is no age limit for learning, are a reflection of the sense of belonging fostered by the university.
The meeting concluded with a group photo session.
