Organized by Çatalca Binkılıç Neighborhood Headman Nazan Kurtan and businessman Murat Köysüren, the “Awareness Walk in Natural Life” was conducted on the basis of Gerontology. Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Institute of Social Sciences also participated in the awareness walk held in Çatalca Binkılıç.

Measures appropriate for pandemic conditions were taken during the awareness walk held in an open area.
The walk, attended by Çatalca District Governor Erdoğan Turan Ermiş and Selami Aykut, President of the Federation of All Istanbul Headmen's Associations, was carried out in compliance with mask and social distancing rules.

The Awareness Walk was dedicated to those over 65 and children
The walk was dedicated to individuals over 65 and children, who are thought to have been negatively affected by the pandemic process. Gerontologists from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine also voluntarily participated in the awareness walk. Additionally, Gerontologists organized awareness workshops during the walk breaks.

Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Institute of Social Sciences also supported the awareness walk by participating in the organization with her talk titled “Our Aging Journey”.
In her talk, Doğan drew attention to health responsibility, interpersonal support, stress management, self-actualization, life satisfaction, and life review, in the context of effectively using the potential of older individuals, leading a fulfilling life, and utilizing their abilities to the fullest, based on healthy aging.

In the “If There Are Bees, There Is Life” event organized by Uğur Şenormancı, a message of balance in nature was conveyed through organic beekeeping activities.
The awareness walk concluded with Nazan Kurtan's talk titled “Organic Products and Natural Life,” where she emphasized the goals set for organic living, organic products, and natural life.
