Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Health Sciences Head of Child Development Department Prof. Dr. Nurper Ülküer was re-elected at the 15th Elective Ordinary Meeting organized by the Children's Development and Educators Association (ÇGEDER). In the biennial presidential elections, Ülküer was elected president for the 3rd time.
At the meeting where Prof. Dr. Nurper Ülküer was elected association president, Child Development Department Research Assistant Begüm Gamiş, and Child Development Department graduates Mehmet Oğuzhan Körlü and Songül Dakak were also elected to the board of directors.

Prof. Dr. Nurper Ülküer emphasized that the focal point is the holistic development of the child, stating, “In this new period, our goal is to be everywhere the child is. It will be to support our colleagues who will perform the requirements of our profession in the most suitable and effective way. While continuing to defend the personal rights of our colleagues on all platforms with them, this period we will give more priority to professional development and support activities that will provide them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to offer the best service wherever they interact with children. While doing this, the focal point of our profession will always be ‘the holistic development of the child’.”
