Üsküdar Üniversitesi Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan met with the Erasmus students at the faculty. The meeting, which was also attended by Faculty Erasmus Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Özdoğru, Manager of the International Relations and Exchange Programs Office Selim Övünç Altınkök, and student representative Tulin Khulki, saw the participation of 6 Erasmus students from 3 different countries.
Foreign Students Shared Their Experiences and Observations
Students who came for study mobility to the faculty's English Psychology and Sociology Departments in the 2021 Spring semester shared their experiences and observations regarding their education and life in our country during the meeting.
The meeting, held in the South Campus garden, was attended by Ante Kulušić from the University of Zagreb in Croatia, Luisa-Felicitas Esch from Leuphana University of Luneburg in Germany, and Andreea Nicoleta Sandu, Ionut Bogdan Pantilie, Elena Andreea Mihală, and Iuliana Georgiana Ghiță from Universitatea din Piteşti in Romania.
Prof. Dr. Arıboğan: 'We operate an open-door policy'
Prof. Dr. Arıboğan stated that they were happy to host the students in Turkey and to be together at Üsküdar Üniversitesi. The students, who expressed the problems and interesting events they experienced during the meeting, stated that they were pleased to be at Üsküdar Üniversitesi and in Istanbul, which continued its Erasmus program mobility even during the pandemic. Arıboğan said that they follow an open-door policy and that students can always visit them.
