President Prof. Nazife Güngör attended EUA annual conference

The European University Association (EUA) General Assembly and Annual Conference were held in Istanbul with broad international participation. Representing Üsküdar University at the conference, President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nazife Güngör strongly reflected the university's internationalization vision. Güngör also held meetings with international stakeholders.

The European University Association (EUA) Annual Conference, representing approximately 900 universities in Europe and considered one of the most important platforms where strategic decisions in higher education are shaped, was held in Turkey for the first time in its history, hosted by Yeditepe University.

President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nazife Güngör attended the 29th annual conference this year on behalf of Üsküdar University. Güngör highlighted Üsküdar University's active role within the European higher education ecosystem.

International academic agenda discussed in Istanbul

At the conference, where more than 260 higher education institutions from 41 countries were represented and approximately 500 academic leaders participated, topics such as the future of universities, digital transformation, research collaborations, and global academic integration were discussed.

The conference offered an important platform for developing cooperation opportunities in the European higher education area.

Üsküdar University emphasizes international cooperation

Üsküdar University, by taking part in the said platform, strengthened its international academic visibility and made contacts to develop cooperation opportunities with European universities.

President Prof. Nazife Güngör's meetings with international stakeholders stood out as important steps to increase the university's effectiveness in global academic networks.

Istanbul hosting one of the important gatherings of European academia and Üsküdar University's participation in this organization revealed the university's determined approach in the fields of science, education, and internationalization.
