International Success for JNBS Journal

Üsküdar University's periodical, “The Journal of Neurobehavioral Sciences (JNBS),” has been making significant contributions to studies in the field of behavioral sciences since 2014. It was announced that the JNBS journal has also gained the right to be indexed in the “Index Copernicus” databases, which are important international indexes, after an 8-month evaluation process.


 Associate Professor Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Head of the Software Engineering Department at Üsküdar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, stated that the JNBS journal, which contributes to the development, dissemination, and international collaborations of scientific studies in the field of neuroscience in our country, also contributes to our country's accumulation and vision in the field of neuroscience with over 200 articles it has published.

Associate Professor Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel said, “The JNBS journal, currently scanned by 9 indexes and published by Wolters Kluwer Publishing House, has gained the right to be indexed in the “Index Copernicus” databases, which are important international indexes, after an 8-month evaluation process. Our journal, which successfully completed a multi-dimensional parametric evaluation process of over 100 criteria, made a significant start by entering the top 30 among 780 international journals indexed in the field of neuroscience, with a rating score of 91.48.”

Associate Professor Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel noted that among the short-term goals of the journal, which has been continuing its indexing efforts for a long time, is its inclusion in indexes within TRDizin and WOS.
