In the Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory within the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, it is aimed to develop new products and services needed in the industry and to carry out interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary researches for cooperation between university and industry. In the Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory, studies are carried out to protect human and environmental health and to improve the existing infrastructure to solve problems.
Our students gain professional experience by actively participating in laboratory applications and research projects from the second year of their education. The laboratory provides research opportunities for department academic staff and graduate students working in the fields of human genetics and polymorphism, microbiology, Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology and Recombinant DNA Technologies.
In our Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory, which adopts the principle of meeting the increasing needs of the industry and contributing to molecular biology-based R&D and innovation studies in our country, it is aimed to develop new methods that will ensure progress in science, design products and offer them to the service of science and humanity.
