Primary Objective: The primary objective of the Medical Biochemistry Laboratory is to ensure that biochemical analyses, which play a critical role in maintaining health, the early detection and diagnosis of diseases, and treatment monitoring, are performed with fully automated, high-reliability systems using advanced technology. The laboratory aims to generate clinically valuable diagnostic data by maintaining the accuracy and precision of test results at the highest possible level.

Key Features: In addition to the routine test menus offered by advanced clinical laboratories, our University's Medical Biochemistry Laboratory has a distinctive area of focus. Beyond standard panels, analyses specific to the field of neuropsychiatry are widely and specifically performed in our laboratory. Its capacity to conduct molecular- and cellular-level examinations of all body fluids constitutes one of the laboratory's strongest capabilities.

  • Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyzers: High-capacity systems that enable the fully automated measurement of substrates, enzymes, and minerals included in a broad test menu using spectrophotometric and kinetic methods.
  • High-Precision Hormone and Immunoassay Analyzers (Immunoassay Systems): Fully automated devices that use chemiluminescence or fluorescence techniques to detect tumor markers, cardiac panels, and neuropsychiatric hormone profiles.
  • Hematology and Urinalysis Systems: Automated analyzers that enable the reliable counting and morphological monitoring of blood cells, as well as the analysis and documentation of chemical and microscopic urine parameters using reliable methods.
