Üsküdar University Research and Application Centers Evaluation Meeting was held. The opening speech of the meeting was made by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Vice Rector for Research and Application Centers Prof. Sevil Atasoy. Strategic issues were discussed at the meeting attended by Vice-Rectors, Advisors to the Rector, Faculty Deans, Center Directors and department academicians.

At the meeting held in the Kuleli Hall of the Central Campus, ideas were exchanged about the new academic year.

Prof. Nazife Güngör: "It can be ensured that these centers have more importance"

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör stated that "Academic units should cooperate with relevant research centers. Connecting with clubs is also an important issue here. It can be ensured that these centers have more importance in terms of scientific, social and cultural activities. In the events, center directors and club presidents can work in cooperation and organize various scientific activities within the centers. In this way, the centers can be made more mobile and planning can be done together with the center managers."

Prof. Sevil Atasoy: "Student clubs provide serious support to research centers"

Vice Rector responsible for Research and Application Centers Prof. Sevil Atasoy stated that "Each research and application center has a regulation published in the official gazette and must work in accordance with the articles specified in this regulation. The legislation authorizes the directors of research centers with a wide range of independence and leadership power. Moreover, each research center has a web site in Turkish and English. Student clubs, on the other hand, provide serious support to research centers. We will welcome the activities, meetings and projects of research and application centers on the fight against drugs."

Within the scope of the meeting, certain issues and what can be done about these issues were discussed.

At the same time, the activities that can be carried out in the new academic year were also discussed.
