Required ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination) Score Type: VERBAL 

 

FOR THE NEW MEDIA AND JOURNALISM MASTER'S PROGRAM (WITH/WITHOUT THESIS), THE SCIENCE EXAM WILL NOT BE TAKEN AT 2025-2026 FALL SEMESTER STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE.

 

In order to apply to the program with thesis, candidates must take the ALES exam and get at least 55 points from the Verbal part.

 

Evaluation:

-For the New Media and Journalism Master’s Program with Thesis, 65% of ALES Verbal Score and 35% of Undergraduate CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is taken to create ranking. The first 15 applicants gain the admission rights.

-For the non-Thesis Master’s Program, 50% of ALES Verbal Score and 50% of Undergraduate CGPA is considered. If the applicant has no ALES Score, 55 points will be assigned, and then ranking is created.

 

In this program, classes are held in the evenings on weekdays.
