- Original or certified copy of the Master's transcript

- YDS exam result document (or equivalent exam result document)

- At least 2 Letters of Reference (At least one of the letters of reference must be academic.)

For applicants wishing to apply directly from a bachelor's degree to the PhD program, the minimum undergraduate GPA must be 3.0/4 (75.00/100). Candidates applying to the PhD program with a bachelor's degree must also have an ALES score of no less than the minimum of 70.

Graduates or prospective graduates of the following programs may apply: Computer Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Pharmacy, Environmental Biotechnology, Genetics and Bioengineering, Food Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Molecular Biology-Genetics and Biotechnology, Molecular Biotechnology, Polymer Science and Technology, Medical Biological Sciences, Medicine, and Medical Engineering.

English Proficiency

English proficiency is not required for application. PhD candidates who are entitled to final registration are required to submit a valid English language certificate at final registration.
