Program Learning Outcomes

1. An ability to apply knowledge of natural sciences to problems related to all areas within Molecular Biology and Genetics.

2. An ability to identify, define, and interpret problems in Molecular Biology and Genetics; to design experiments; to select and apply appropriate contemporary experimental, analytical, and modeling methods; to interpret results, archive and analyze data; and to utilize fundamental knowledge for solving potential problems.

3. An ability to collaborate in national and international interdisciplinary environments, and to develop skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.

4. An ability to interpret knowledge and methods in Molecular Biology and Genetics, to examine the structural and functional properties of living organisms from a contemporary and critical scientific perspective, and to develop original solutions when necessary.

5. An ability to follow current developments in the field, to continuously improve oneself through lifelong learning, and to communicate effectively in both Turkish and English, orally and in writing.

6. An understanding of ethical responsibility in research methods and their outcomes, along with awareness of the universal and societal impacts and legal consequences of applications in Molecular Biology and Genetics.
