Program Outcomes
1. Can apply data obtained from the basic natural sciences to problems related to all areas covered by molecular biology and genetics.
2. Identifies, defines and interprets problems in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics; designs experiments and applies appropriate contemporary experimental, analytical and modeling methods; interprets results, archives and analyzes data; and is thus able to use the fundamental knowledge needed to solve potential problems.
3. Develops skills such as collaborating with different national and international disciplines, leadership, communication, teamwork and entrepreneurship.
4. Can interpret knowledge and methods in Molecular Biology and Genetics, examine the structural and functional characteristics of living organisms with a contemporary and critical approach from the perspective of their own scientific field, and develop original solutions when necessary.
5. Can improve themselves by following current developments in their field, and acquires lifelong learning skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in Turkish and English.
6. Makes ethical inferences about research methods and their outcomes, has a sense of responsibility, and gains awareness of the universal and societal impacts and legal consequences of applications in the field of molecular biology and genetics.
