Department of Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution - About the Department

• To ensure that the courses are taught in harmony by assigning lecturers to teach Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution courses taught in various faculties and colleges of Üsküdar University,
• To contribute to the training of students as good citizens who are useful to their country in line with the Kemalist Thought System and Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions,
• To organize conferences, seminars and panels and make scientific publications in order to research, disseminate and promote Kemalist thought, Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions through scientific means,
• To support all kinds of Atatürkist modernization initiatives through research and publications, to introduce Atatürkist thought in its true aspect and to contribute to keeping it alive by updating it.

Course Objectives:

The aim of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution course is to comprehend the value of Atatürk's principles by explaining the basic qualities and achievements of the Republic by examining Atatürk's works. In addition, it is aimed to teach the political developments during the completion of the Turkish Revolution and the establishment process of the new state. In addition, another aim of the course is to teach students Atatürk's revolutions in political and social fields.

In order to comprehend the purpose of the Revolution, it is necessary to provide accurate information about the Turkish War of Independence and the History of the Republic of Turkey, and to educate the Turkish Youth as individuals with a sense of history. Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution course has undertaken this task. Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution courses are of indispensable importance in order to ensure the continuity of the Republican regime, to create new institutions, to spread and develop the Kemalist thought system, to modernize our nation and to teach new generations that the Republic of Turkey with its state, nation and country is an indivisible whole and to ensure the integration of Turkish Youth in this ideal.
