About
Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems Application and Research Center, following the rapidly developing and changing technologies in the field of smart systems and artificial intelligence, collecting and analyzing data, creating value-added products, publishing academic articles, participating and contributing to national / international projects academics, it will be made cooperation with their incubation centers, accelerators and technology transfer offices in procurement. Today, it is aimed that the products to be obtained in academic and industrial cooperation through the center, where many methods such as machine learning, signal processing, image processing, deep learning, fuzzy logic, developed under the title of artificial intelligence, will find application areas, will be products that produce high added value. The negligible contribution of the exports of high-tech products to all manufacturing industry export items underlines that we, as a country, should switch from labor-intensive and productivity-oriented production to innovation-oriented economy and production. The Center and academy-industry cooperation, which will add value to the national economy in the medium and long term, will be developed for production.
Similarly, it is aimed to have widespread effect by increasing the interdisciplinary cooperation with the infrastructure collaborations of universities. Within the framework of artificial intelligence studies, it will also contribute to the creation of an awareness ecosystem about the field by following it at the international level, encouraging its participation in conferences, monitoring, tracing and contributing to the national studies and informative meetings. Supporting the opening of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence graduate programs and supporting the postgraduate theses to be carried out will be among the important academic contributions of the center. The Center will also accelerate the continuing education activities of the university units by developing suggestions on transforming seminars and courses into comprehensive training programs that result in certificates, introducing courses and seminars to public and private institutions and individuals as the products of the university, and determining new training needs. By ensuring a unity of implementation among the programs to be carried out by the center, it will guide the academicians working in these fields and open the doors of cooperation.
