In previous years, candidates who took the university exam had more than one type of numerical, verbal, equal weight and language scores. Having more than one score in each score type confused the candidates who would make preferences. However, with the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), multiple score types were reduced to a single score. Therefore, the candidate will choose a department according to the score and success ranking in the field they prepared for the university exam.
