Zero Waste, Full Savings in Resource Use!
Üsküdar University recently published a brochure titled 'At Work, At Home, On the Road, Energy Efficiency!' by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to draw attention to energy saving, and had requested universities to comply with the rules.
Üsküdar University had also quickly implemented an action plan on its campuses a month ago. In addition to the initiative aimed at effective energy use, waste prevention, alleviating the burden of energy costs on the economy, increasing the efficiency of energy sources and usage, and environmental protection, Üsküdar University has now launched a new initiative.

Üsküdar University, which implements measures regarding Energy Efficiency, now aims to prevent food waste that may occur in dining halls and to raise awareness among students, academicians, and administrative staff by hanging visuals with the slogan 'Take What You'll Eat, Eat What You Take' in campus dining halls.
The visuals hung in all dining halls of Üsküdar University, NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi, and Medical Centers aim to minimize potential food waste. The visuals displayed in the dining halls enable students, academicians, and administrative staff to be conscious consumers when taking food.
