Organized in collaboration with Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication and Career Center, the 'Zinco Plus Kids Animation Film Project Results Ceremony' brought students together with industry representatives. In the competition held in collaboration with Pharmacisa İlaç, students both developed their technical skills and gained professional experience by producing animation based on a real brief over a two-month period. While the projects showcased at the event received acclaim, the fact that the winning project will be used in brand communication offered a significant career opportunity.



The event, held at South Campus Block A, was attended by Assoc. Prof. Cem Tutar, Head of the Department of Cartoon and Animation, Faculty of Communication, Savaş Duman and Cihan Gökyokuş from Pharmacisa İlaç, and many students and academics.

Contact with the industry is of great importance!
Assoc. Prof. Cem Tutar, Head of the Department of Cartoon and Animation, who moderated the event, drew attention to the importance of university-industry collaborations, emphasizing the great value of students having contact with the industry during their education.
Asst. Prof. Harun Türkmenoğlu, the course instructor, stated that the project progressed based on a real brief, and that students both completed their courses and produced a concrete work.

Idea development stages were experienced firsthand
The project, led by Semra Gül within the scope of the Career Center Department's Industry Collaborations, attracted attention by bringing young talents' creative power together with the industry, while producing concrete and sustainable outcomes. During the intensive process that lasted approximately two months, students experienced firsthand the stages of creative idea development, scriptwriting, and animation production in line with the brief they received from industry professionals.
Speaking at the event, Semra Gül stated that such studies offer significant opportunities for students; she said, "Today, we are holding a meeting here that will contribute to our students' career journeys."



Creative ideas add value to the project
The active participation of Pharmacisa İlaç officials Savaş Duman and Cihan Gökyokuş in the process enabled students to produce from a real brand perspective.
Company officials, emphasizing the importance of working with youth, stated that students' creative ideas added value to the project.

The winning project was considered for the brand's communication channels…
During the event, the animated commercial film prepared by the students was watched, and the works were met with appreciation by the participants.
As a result of the competition, the project of Nida Nefise Öztunç, a 4th-year student of Cartoon and Animation, who came first, was considered for use in the brand's communication channels.
One of the most important gains of the project was that students became more prepared for professional life by experiencing a real job simulation before graduating.
At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the participants.
