The Youth Club, operating under the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) of Üsküdar University, demonstrated exemplary environmental awareness within the scope of November 11 National Afforestation Day. Students participating in the mass sapling planting program held in Silivri Balaban Area, hosted by the Istanbul Governorship and the General Directorate of Forestry, protected the green homeland with the slogan 'A Breath for the Future, Hope for the World'.

Students reinforced environmental awareness by planting hundreds of saplings at the event.
The activity not only provided a breath for nature but also increased the environmental awareness of young people.

Faruk Dündar: “We Sowed Hope for the Future”
Faruk Dündar, President of the Youth Club, stated that love for nature and environmental awareness are vital values for the future of societies. Dündar said; “Today, we didn't just plant saplings here. We left a value that will be hope for the future, a breath for nature, and a legacy for tomorrow. We acted inspired by the Prophet Muhammad's hadith: ‘Even if the Apocalypse starts, plant the sapling in your hand.’ Because we know that every sapling planted is a symbol of life, hope, and goodness.”

They Worked Together for the Future…
Throughout the day, students once again experienced the importance of working together for an environmentally friendly future.
At the end of the event, students immortalized the day by taking photos with 'One Sapling, A Thousand Hopes' themed banners, reflecting their love for nature and sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Sustainability and Social Responsibility Always at the Forefront
Üsküdar University Youth Club connects university youth with social awareness through projects carried out throughout the year on environmental, sustainability, and social responsibility themes. In every activity, the Youth Club aims to position students not only as participants but also as voluntary representatives of a green future.
