Üsküdar Üniversitesi Young Brains Academy held a meeting with the KOSGEB European Side Regional Directorate. At the meeting hosted by the KOSGEB European Side Regional Directorate, social innovation-focused business ideas of young entrepreneurs were discussed. The visionary approaches of young people producing solutions to societal problems were emphasized at the meeting, which was contributed by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Young Brains Academy Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Özşahin. KOSGEB Regional Director Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı stated that they see innovative entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainable development. Young entrepreneurs shared the projects they developed in areas such as health, digitalization, and family development, also drawing attention to the guiding effect of KOSGEB support.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Social Contribution Coordinator, Young Brains Academy Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar stated that young people can be pioneers of social transformation through a project culture. Yaşar; “Social contribution is possible not only through volunteering but also through intellect, planning, and entrepreneurship. The convergence of young people's business ideas that create social impact with government support is a strategic opportunity for Turkey.” she said.

Speaking at the meeting, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Özşahin pointed out that the entrepreneurial vision of young people is much different from the past. Özşahin; “Today's young entrepreneur has a perspective that thinks not only about their investor but also about society, nature, and the future. We will continue to support this conscious youth in every field.” he stated.
Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı: “We support every step in this field”
KOSGEB European Side Regional Director Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı, who delivered the opening speech of the meeting, emphasized that young people have the potential to produce not only economic but also social value. Manyaslı; “We wish for our young people's ideas to go beyond being a company and transform into projects that touch society's wounds and benefit society. We see innovative entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainable development and we support every step in this field.” she said.

Young entrepreneurs shared their experiences
Young entrepreneurs who participated in the meeting also introduced their social benefit-oriented projects. Dr. Mustafa Şanverdi, who stands out with his work in artificial intelligence in healthcare, Iclal Elif Erdoğan with her ideas to support young female entrepreneurs in the digital world, and Melisa Gül, who developed an innovative initiative on mother-child development, shared their projects with the participants. Young entrepreneurs also drew attention to the fact that KOSGEB support has not only a financial but also a motivational and guiding effect.
