Within the scope of audits conducted annually by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), which periodically observes the academic and administrative operations of state and foundation universities and investigates their compliance with regulations, Üsküdar University’s affiliated hospitals were also visited. During the audits where Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur made a presentation to the committee, NPİSTANBUL and Memorial Hospitals were also visited.
Meeting with YÖK Auditors at Üsküdar University NP Health Campus, the university committee, chaired by Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, provided information to YÖK officials.
The presentation regarding hospital and education activities was made by Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur.
The committee also visited the affiliated hospitals NPİSTANBUL and Memorial Hospitals, where students studying in the fields of health in the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry gain practical experience, and gathered information about their operations.
The university committee and YÖK auditors also met with medical and health students and took a souvenir photo during their hospital visits.
The audit is planned to continue throughout the day.
