Have the 2021 YKS Exam results (TYT - AYT) been announced?
This year, 2,607,903 candidates took the 2021 YKS exam. The results were made accessible on ÖSYM's website as of July 28, 2021.
What is the YKS 2021 threshold?
Following the announcement of the exam results, the preference process began for candidates. To choose associate degree programs, candidates must score 150 or higher in 2021 TYT. In YKS 2021, to be able to choose undergraduate programs that admit students with SAY, SÖZ, EA, and DİL score types, it is necessary to score 180 or higher in the relevant score type.

Simulations regarding the situation were conducted under the coordination of ÖSYM. The result of the study was presented to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Erdoğan made the latest statement regarding the 2021 YKS Threshold.
In his statement, Erdoğan said that the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) decided to make an additional placement during the 2021 YKS preference process, in addition to central and supplementary placements. Accordingly, he stated that the threshold score for the additional supplementary placement would be applied as 140 for TYT, and 170 for AYT and YDT.
When will YKS exam preferences be made?
Following the announcement of YKS results on July 28, the YKS preference guide was published by ÖSYM. The 2021-YKS preference procedures began on August 05, 2021, at 10:00. Candidates will make their preferences themselves between August 05-20, 2021, according to the rules in the guide, via ÖSYM's https://ais.osym.gov.tr website using their T.C. Identity Numbers and passwords, or through the ÖSYM Candidate Operations Mobile Application. Preference procedures will end on August 20, 2021, at 23:59.
How are university preferences made?
Candidates will make their preferences using their T.C. Identity Number and password within the preference period via ÖSYM's https://ais.osym.gov.tr website, and complete their preference submission by sending them electronically over the internet.

When will YKS registration procedures be carried out?
Candidates who are entitled to register for a program based on YKS results will be able to complete their registration procedures between September 6-10, 2021. Electronic registrations will take place between September 4-8, 2021. Candidates who do not apply for registration or do not complete their registration procedures within these dates will lose their right to register.
