World Health Organization (WHO) sent an invitation to Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Head of Child Development Department Prof. Nurper Ülküer to attend the EU funded Project “Social Inclusion of Persons with Mental Disabilities” which is being implemented with the technical support of WHO and in collaboration with Ministries of Health and Family, Labor and Social Services.
Project aims to enable the social inclusion of people with mental disabilities
The first of the annual meetings will take place on 27-28 June, 2019 in Crown Plaza Hotel, Ankara. This meeting is expected to serve as a forum for discussing challenges and opportunities for community mental health.
Continuous Professional Development will be supported
There are going to be three 2-day meetings held within the scope of the project which brings together participants from MoH, MoFLSS and the Council of Higher Education as well as representatives from universities, training institutions and academicians.
These annual meetings will have a scientific content and will support Continuous Professional Development of staff working in mental health area.
