Within the scope of March 18-24 Elder Respect Week, the “We Are Aging Together” seminar was organized by the Kadıköy Municipality Health Affairs Directorate. At the seminar, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Institute of Social Sciences Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan shared insights on “Psychological Processes in Old Age” in the panel titled “Active and Healthy Aging”.
There was a strong turnout for the seminar held in the Assembly Hall of Kozyatağı Culture Center.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Institute of Social Sciences Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan evaluated the phenomenon of aging under the headings “Aging as a Social Phenomenon and Concepts Related to Aging in Our Day Such as the Feminization and Singularization of Aging”. Emphasizing that aging is a process, not a result, Doğan stated; “Aging is not a destruction, but a change.”
The seminar concluded with wishes and hopes after participants' questions were answered.
