The Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Dr. Reshad Mammadov, paid a visit to the office of President of Üsküdar University and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan. Rector of Üsküdar University Prof. Nazife Güngör was also present at the meeting, during which opportunities for academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries were evaluated. Cooperation opportunities aimed at developing educational programs, research projects, student and academic staff exchanges, and joint activities in various fields were discussed.
Joint projects were discussed
During the visit held at the office of President of Üsküdar University and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, the historical background of the academic ties between the two countries was addressed, and potential joint projects that could be implemented in the future were discussed.
Cooperation opportunities were discussed in detail
Cooperation opportunities in many fields such as the development of educational programs, support for scientific research, increasing student and academic staff exchanges, and expanding cultural activities were discussed in detail.
It was emphasized that conducting joint studies especially in the fields of health, psychology, media, social sciences, and technology would bring significant benefits to both institutions.
Contribution to the vision of internationalization
Stating that they closely follow the academic activities of Üsküdar University, Ambassador Dr. Reshad Mammadov expressed that the brotherly ties between the two countries would be further strengthened through joint initiatives in the field of education.
Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Prof. Nazife Güngör also expressed their satisfaction with the visit and stated that the projects to be carried out with Azerbaijan would make significant contributions to the university’s vision of internationalization.
