Iğdır University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma visited Üsküdar University Founding Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan in his office. During the courtesy visit, many topics regarding cooperation between the two universities were discussed.
During the visit made jointly by Iğdır University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma and Iğdır University Salt Therapy Application and Research Center Director Dr. Lecturer Tekin Sancar, Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur and Tarhan – İDER Foundation Board Member Selahattin Arslan were also present.

The development of joint projects related to salt therapy between Üsküdar University and Iğdır University, the organization of a joint Creation Congress, and faculty member support for Iğdır University Faculty of Dentistry were discussed.
Consultations held to carry out joint projects
Iğdır University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma reminded that Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan participated as a speaker in the 3rd International Creation Congress in the Light of Sciences, hosted by Iğdır University in 2019; “We hosted the 3rd Creation Congress at our university, organized to ensure a better understanding by the scientific community of the importance of humanity and the universe and their creation, and we welcomed Mr. Nevzat Tarhan. It is a pleasure for us that this important congress, which broadens the intellectual horizons of the scientific community, continues as a series. We had a productive consultation process with Mr. Tarhan regarding the continuation of the congress in the future with the partnership of Üsküdar University. Additionally, we held consultations to carry out joint projects between our university, which is renowned in the field of salt therapy, and Üsküdar University, and to raise the bar for our newly established Faculty of Dentistry,” he said.
Iğdır University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakkı Alma thanked Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan for his hospitality, and expressed his satisfaction with joining forces with Üsküdar University.
