Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Directorate organized a visit to the July 15 Martyrs' Monument on the 5th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. Under the leadership of Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak, senate members, academic and administrative staff prayed for the martyrs during the visit.
During the visit organized within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak, along with senate members and academic staff, had the opportunity to meet and converse with students from different schools.
Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak met with Health Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Erdöl during the visit and addressed the meaning and importance of the day.
During the visit to the Martyrs' Monument, prayers were offered for the 251 martyrs who lost their lives on the night of the July 15 coup attempt.
The visit continued with the Üsküdar University delegation touring the Memory of July 15 Museum after the prayers at the Martyrs' Monument. Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak, senate members, and academic staff commemorated the events of the coup attempt night and the martyrs who lost their lives at the museum.
